Self is a series of artworks that turned out to be an answer to the question "Who am I? In the search for this mysterious self, I had to dig up a whole bunch of fragments, revise each of them, and then build something new out of the pieces.

What is personality, what influences its formation, and, above all, what underlies it? What is unchangeable about the concept of "person," and what is the essence of a phenomenon like "self"? The search for answers to these questions is the root of my creativity. In my artwork, I delve into the depths of my psyche to explore the space of the inner world, the collective unconscious. I examine how external and internal factors influence the formation of personality and bring my findings to the surface of the canvas through the lens of perception.
